The Source Youth Ministry es un ministerio sumamente impresionante ya que fue levantado y es administrado atraves de los jovenes de nuestra iglesia. "The Source" se viene a traducer como "la fuente" ya que nuestro Señor Jesus Cristo es nuestra fuente de vida. Respondió Jesús: “Todo el que beba de esta agua volverá a tener sed, pero el que beba del agua que yo le daré, no volverá a tener sed jamás, sino que dentro de él esa agua se convertirá en un manantial del que brotará vida eterna.” Juan 4:13-14
Y así fue que surgió el nombre "The Source." Las enseñanzas (en igles) son dadas por nuestros lideres de jóvenes relatando la palabra de Dios a un nivel juvenil donde los jóvenes pueden identificarse con lo que la biblia nos enseña. Mensualmente tiene su salidas donde se pueden divertir en un ambiente sano y crean relaciones que no solo estiman pero también edifican.
The Source Youth Ministry began with a group of young people from Iglesia Rios De Agua Viva in the city of San Bernardino who got together with the hope of creating a revolutionary way of teaching God's word. The idea was that the youth themselves would create lessons based on the bible and apply them to our every day lives. Realizing that our struggles were different from the average teen. We wanted to reach topics like drugs, self-esteem issues, the high school influence, how to live a Christian life and figure out what Gods role was in our lives throughout these difficult times of uncertainty. We began our journey with very few and now as time passes we have progressed in such amazing ways. Seeing the fruits of our efforts right before our eyes with the young people that now surround us who's lives are living proof that there is a God. Everything in The Source Youth Ministry is ran, taught, and operated by the youth of our church. Something very few churches get to see. A staff of youth who understands what we need to hear and focuses our activities and teachings to bring us closer to God each and every day.
Every Friday at 7:00 pm our service begins with praise and worship. As the clock nears 8:00 pm the youth go into what we call, "The Source," room. Our very own sanctuary where a host and speaker greet you and give a lesson. As the host asks questions to the speaker about his or her lesson the audience is also able to participate, enabling everyone to literally have the word of God completely open. A talk show taking place right before your eyes with a message that will sit with you forever.
